Views from the buildings in the Estate usually include trees with glimpses of the surrounding mountains.
The ornate plaster-work, functional steelwork and the shadows create patterns on walls of different shades of white. The shade cast by the trees reflects the pattern of shade on the mountainside. And the filigree work in the gate is balanced by the denuded branch of the tree.
