Gate on the Path from the Spa
High Resolution Inkjet Print
The view of the rooms, the gate and the tree in Winter. All of the outer walls on Lanzerac Wine Estate are painted the traditional white. And the white reflects all of the adjacent colours during different times in the day.
In this view I was struck by the brilliant white highlights on the faces and rims catching the full sun and how these highlights sparkled against the other whites in the view.
I also wanted to capture all the smaller views of the estate and the mountain and garden context – as smaller vignettes in the larger picture.
